Funpilot Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Onyx Blue Digital GmbH ("Funpilot") uses cookies and similar storage. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What we use
Funpilot sets a small number of first-party cookies - all of them essential or functional, never for advertising or tracking:
- Session cookie (`__session`) - keeps you signed in and protects your account. Strictly necessary; set by our own code.
- CSRF-protection cookie (`csrf_token`) - a security token that protects against cross-site request forgery on the requests you make while signed in. Strictly necessary.
- Language-preference cookie (`NEXT_LOCALE`) - remembers the language you use so the Service is shown in that language. A functional cookie set by our internationalisation framework.
Because these cookies are strictly necessary or reflect a preference you have chosen, they do not require consent under the ePrivacy rules, and we do not show a cookie-consent banner.
We also use a small amount of temporary local storage needed to complete sign-in (for example, to finish an email sign-in), which is cleared afterwards.
2. What we do NOT use
- No advertising or marketing cookies.
- No analytics or tracking cookies.
- No third-party advertising or behavioural-profiling SDKs.
We do not show a cookie-consent banner because we do not set advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies.
3. Third-party pages
When you interact with third-party pages reached through the Service - for example Stripe's payment page, or Google Maps - those third parties may set their own cookies on their own domains, governed by their own policies. We do not control those cookies.
4. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly-necessary session or CSRF cookies will prevent you from staying signed in or completing actions; blocking the language cookie means the Service may not remember your language.
5. Changes
We may update this Policy if our use of cookies changes. The current version is always available on our website.
