Funpilot Community Guidelines & Acceptable Use
These Guidelines set the rules for how you may use Funpilot and, in particular, what you may share with other people through the Service. They form part of our Terms of Service. Breaking them can lead to content removal, feature limits, suspension, or account termination.
1. Be lawful and respectful
Do not use Funpilot to:
- break the law, or help anyone else break it;
- harass, threaten, bully, defame, or stalk anyone;
- promote violence, hatred, or discrimination against people based on who they are;
- deceive or defraud, impersonate others, or misrepresent who you are.
2. Messaging and invitations
- Only invite or message people you know and who would expect to hear from you.
- Do not send unsolicited or bulk invitations or messages, or use the Service to spam.
- Do not use the Service to harvest other people's contact details.
3. Content you share with others (posts, comments, photos)
When you post an adventure, comment, or upload a photo:
- Share only content you have the right to share. Do not post other people's photos, work, or private information without permission.
- Do not upload photos of identifiable people without their agreement.
- Do not post sexual content, content involving minors, graphic violence, hate, harassment, illegal goods or services, or content that infringes someone's rights.
- Uploaded photos may be checked automatically before they appear, and we may refuse or remove anything that breaks these Guidelines.
4. Live location ("beacons")
- A beacon shares your real-time location with your contacts. Use it responsibly and only when you intend to share where you are.
- Do not use beacons or any feature to track, surveil, or intimidate another person.
5. Don't abuse the Service
Do not scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the security or rate limits of the Service, and do not use it for commercial purposes without our agreement.
6. Reporting and enforcement
If you see content or behaviour that breaks these Guidelines, report it (see our Notice-and-Action process). We review reports and may remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts. Where the law requires, we act on illegal content and may inform the relevant authorities.
